If it’s true that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, then the same could be said for “style” of Boston based interior designers, Paul White & David Nault (Weena & Spook), who have plenty of it. When owner, Vojin Vujosevic, called upon his good friends to assist with the cafe expansion, the dynamic design duo went right to work, creating a look that picked-up right where their original clean, minimal, and contemporary, retail section of the cafe left off. Very soon, Vojin’s vision of a European classy bar and intimate dining room materialized. Just at the end of Paul White’s final sketch of the bar, inspiration struck and the idea of finishing the bar with a unique splash of “red” spilled out and onto the drawing. That was it! “Red Bar” came to life.
As you enter Pain D’Avignon, the bar is the center of attention, brimming with energy and sophistication. What’s behind it is an impressive array of premium liquors, spirits and lagers. The bar does not offer “well” drinks, just the best and better cocktails, concoctions, and expertly shaken and stirred creations. It boasts a bountiful selection of French wines, which span the many wine regions of France, as well as, the finest tap and bottled beers from Belgium and France.
Whether you are stopping in for a quick drink and Meza plate before a flight to Nantucket, or you want to enjoy a tasty tap beer on a hot summer’s night, or you simply prefer to have a complete meal and some cozy attention… you’ll do it in style, and you’ll do it in color… at RED BAR!
