Chocolate Pot De CremeIt is two weeks until Thanksgiving and at the bakery Executive Pastry Chef Else Rhodes’ delectable pies are being ordered in record numbers! Maple Pecan, Pumpkin or Apple Cranberry Crumble are flavors evocative of the season here on Cape Cod!!

There is one other flavor that people here on Cape Cod and visitors to our French Cafe cannot seem to get enough of Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall and that is CHOCOLATE!!

For those who might like to add an untraditional dessert to their Thanksgiving Day feast Chef Rhodes shares her version of Chocolate Pot de Creme. Pot de creme is a French custard dating back to the 17th century.
