The "Royale with Cheese" caused quite a buzz at the 1st annual LambJam at the Charles Hotel :: 3.08.2010

The Royale with Cheese, created by our Executive Chef Toby Hill rocked the 1st annual LambJam at The Charles Hotel yesterday. It took first place in his cut division. The patty consisted of half cured lamb shoulder confit and half lean ground lamb shoulder,topped with a triple creme brie, Toby's special sauce (a spicy brown mustard made with Mayflower Brewing Co. Porter), crispy onion strings all on our buttery brioche bun. Mutton Fries were served alongside (shoestring potatoes cooked in lamb fat) the burger served in a classic take out box.
